When looking at a quality wool product against the light, you notice a slight fuzz due to an excess of fiber on the surface. If moderate, this characteristic testifies to the high quality of the product.

It is possible that after a short period of use, due to rubbing, these thin excess fibers form pellets. This phenomenon called "pilling", is absolutely normal if in minimal quantities, and can be easily removed with a soft brush. The excess fibers that will be lost will not alter the structure of the garment and this phenomenon will disappear with the elimination of all excess surface fibres. If you follow the care instructions on the product label, this throw will become more and more valuable over time. It is not for nothing that these plaids are also known as "grandma's beautiful plaids".
